Mull

The Isle of Mull (Muile or an t-Eilean Muileach) is the fourth-largest Scottish island. It is a popular tourist destination, including the colourful town of Tobermory, as well as for visitors heading to Iona, Ulva, the Treshnish Isles and Staffa.

It is considered to be an ‘all-rounder’ island with bars, restaurants and cultural events as well as more peaceful activities such as hill-walks, history and wildlife.

Ninth Wave Restaurant
Ninth Wave is a unique gem of a seafood restaurant located on the scenic Isle of Mull, renowned for its abundant waters. Owners John & Carla Lamont invite you to explore the award-winning contemporary menu, which changes daily, and is based on local fishermen’s catches, and crofter’s bounty. Succulent lobster, crab, langoustine, hand-dived scallops and fish are often caught only hours before appearing on your dinner plate. The restaurant takes its name from Celtic Mythology, in which “the land of other-worldly delights” begins at the ninth wave. This spirit is reflected in both Chef Lamont’s eclectic style of cuisine and in an ethos where luxury meets sustainability.
